Kenneth D. Vos, 62, of Prairie City, Iowa died of a heart attack at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
Kenneth was born in Jasper County, Iowa and farmed near Monroe since 1959.
He is survived by his wife, Lorena; a daughter, Debra Elrod of Newton; three sons, Dale and Darwin, both of Pella, and Douglas of Jacksonville, Fla.; five stepdaughters, Diane Baier and Kathy De Zwarte, both of Pella, Linda Gosselink of Mesa, Ariz., and Carol Gosselink and Julie Gosselink, both of west Des moines, his mother, Wilma Vos of Pella; three sisters, Lois Stallinga and Linda Vos, both of Pella, and Louise Conover of Trout Run, Pa.; three brothers, Ronald of Garner, N.C., Harris of Newton and Jerry of Monroe; and 17 grandchildren.
