Bedford, NH - Shirley (Frye) Tosh, 77, of Bedford, beloved wife of David Tosh, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at Elliot Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Moultonborough, she is the daughter of the late Clarence H. and Louisa E. (Adams) Frye. Raised in the Lake Winnipesaukee area, she was a graduate of Southington High School, Conn. Prior to retirement, she had been employed for more than 25 years by Wallingford Convalescent Home, Wallingford, Conn. She later earned several health certificates and worked for the Elliot Health Systems as a home-health aide. A dedicated wife and mother, Shirley's family was paramount in her life. She enjoyed the companionship of her pug dogs as an owner, member of Patriot Pug Dog Club, and volunteer with the Pug Rescue of New England. Shirley took great pride in her show dogs, even traveling to England for pug dog shows. She will be best remembered for her kind heart and bright smile. In addition to her devoted husband of more than 50 years, Shirley is survived by her daughter, Diane Noreikis of Connecticut and her daughters, Desiree and Victoria; her two sons, David Tosh Jr. of South Carolina, and Timothy Tosh of Maine; several grandchildren; a few great-grandchildren; her siblings, Randy Frye, Michael Frye, and Cindy Frye-Ames; many dear friends; and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Linda Welcome, and brother, Louis Frye.

Services: Calling Hours will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. Burial will be in New Eastman Cemetery, North Road, Sunapee, on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. For more information, please visit www.phaneuf.net .
