Mrs. Mary Emily Burnett, aged seventy-two, died February 21 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Tommy Garner at Smith Creek.
She is survived by her husband, P. S. Barnett [obit does say P. S. Barnett], Star Route, Lonsdale; four daughters, Mrs. Maudie Hardin, Hot Springs, Mrs. Archie Rowan, Benton, Mrs. Lorene Goodwin, Owensville, and Mrs. Garner; one son, Clinton of Benton; and one brother, Charlie Huchingson, Owensville.
Services were held at two p.m. today (Thursday) at the Owensville Church, the Rev. O. C. Robinson, Sr., officiating with burial at Owensville by Ashby Funeral Home. (Benton Courier February 23, 1950, pg 7)


She was married to Lee Thomas Burnett and the daughter of John Monroe and Luhamia King Huchingson.
