Funeral services for Lloyd Alley, 81, Route 1, Louisa will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jeff Lambert. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery, Route 1, Louisa. Mr. Alley died March 1 in King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY. He was born Jan 8, 1907 at Williamson, WV, a son of the late Arson and Sarah Thompson Alley. He was a member of the United Mine Workers and the Methodist Church. His wife, Beulah Blair Alley died in 1970. Survivors include one son, Paul Alley of Route 1, Louisa; three sisters, Etta Alley of Oceana, WV, Mrs. Mae Rose and Mrs. Hazel Scott both of Chattaroy, WV; one brother Okey Alley of Chattaroy ; and two grandchildren. Young Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
