Former Tribland resident Daniel D. Pigeon, 55, of Vista, Calif., died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, in Vista.
Memorial services were Friday at San Luis Rey Mission in Oceanside, Calif. Burial was to be in Mission Cemetery in Oceanside, Accu-Care Cremation Center of Carlsbad, Calif., was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pigeon was born Nov. 27, 1943, to Louie and Edna (Cable) Pigeon in Hastings, Nebraska. In 1962 he graduated from St. Cecilia Catholic School in Hastings. He worked for HDR Architects. In 1997 he moved to Vista to work as the designing architect for the North County Regional Justice Center. On April 9, 1999, he married Marla Rice in California.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Jill Roberts and Marna Pigeon, both of Dallas, two sons, Jeff of Michigan and Patrick of Dallas; three sisters, Deloris Durham of Fountain Valley, Calif., Linda Nohr of Poway, Calif., and Cindy Bonahoom of Hastings, Nebr; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1910 Shadow Ridge Road, Vista, CA 92083.
