Funeral services for Effie Sims, 91, of Greenville will be 2 p.m. today at the Coker-Mathers Chapel with Rev. George Mullins and Rev. Myrl Eastman officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Miss Sims died Saturday night in Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. She was born Dec. 15, 1901, in Dallas, the daughter of Tobe and Hillie Kerr Sims. She was retired from Sears, Roebuck & Co. She was a member of the Bible Missionary Church.
Survivors include one sister, Hilly Armstrong of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, one brother and two half-sisters.
