Bob was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He worked for the Gas Co. until his retirement. He was a gentle man and a gentleman. He was a man of great love for his family, honesty, integrity, patience, kindness and good will toward others - a true role model. Bob was an outstanding dad and grandpa. He knew Jesus as his Savior, and was a member of the Evangelical Free Church while growing up, then the Lutheran Church as an adult. He is deeply loved and greatly missed by his family and many friends, who count it a great blessing to have had him in our lives. Bob suffered with heart problems for many years. He passed away from a heart attack. We look forward to the time when we will all be together again in Heaven, in the presence of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
