A farm machinery salesman and legal resident of Rural Route, Pierce Circle, Madison, he was 82 years old and a widower when he died of an acute coronary occlusion on June 27, 1950 at Gilmore Nursing Home where he had been for eleven days. Burial was two days later in Spring Hill Cemetery, Madison.
