Funeral services for Charles Schmidt, 84, former town of Two Rivers farmer, who died at the Holy Family hospital here Monday, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Klein and Stangel Inc., funeral home in Two Rivers. Burial will be in Pioneers Rest cemetery.

He was born in Rockland in 1862 and with his wife, the former Minnie Grimmer, operated a farm until the latter’s death in 1928 when Mr. Schmidt moved to Reedsville. He suffered injuries in a fall at a neighbor’s home a week ago Sunday and was removed to the hospital.

He is survived by two sons, Edward of Two Rivers and John of Sheboygan, three brothers, Herman and Fred Schmidt of Manitowoc and George of Appleton; three sisters, Miss Henry Boettcher, Mrs. William Grimmer and Mrs. Minnie Grimmer
all of Appleton.
