Thomas J. Hough married Susan McCloud on June 16, 1844. They were parents of five children. He was a printer like his father. His parents were Jonathan "John" Tomkins Hough (who died from Typhus Fever April 14, 1850, age 48) and Eleanor Neff, died Dec 24, 1878, Berlin, New Jersey, age 76.
