DIES AT ODD FELLOWS HOME
Mrs. E. R. Forbes, aged 77 years, step-mother of the late Robert Forbes, of this city, died Sunday at the Odd Fellows Home at Greensburg, where she had been for some time.
Mrs. Lydia Forbes and Mrs.E. J. Albertson, learning that Mrs. Forbes was sick at the Home journeyed thither to see her on Monday, but upon their arrival at the Home were told that she was dead. They returned to this city the same day.
Thee remains are brought to Knightstown Tuesday on the 11:36 north bound Big Four passenger, and the remains were then taken to the nearby cemetery where services were held and interment made.
Mrs. Forbes' maiden name was Chandler, a sister of Taylor and John Chandler, deceased, and was a former resident of Center township, Rush county."
