HOLMES. At San Lucas, Monterey county, California, April 9th, 1892, at two a.m., little Earnest, son of Bro. John C. and Sr. Ella Holmes, of Long Valley, Monterey county.
He was born August 12th, 1886, and died from rattlesnake bite twelve hours after he was bitten.
He was buried in the Long Valley cemetery, making the fourth child Bro. and Sr. Holmes have laid there. Service at the grave by Elder
J. H. Lawn, prayer by Rev. Rice.
