Doris I Bolen was born in Texas and moved to California as a child. Her desire in life was to become a wife and mother. Doris and Al Bolen began their life together on April 26, 1955 and were married for 47 years, having 7 children.
Doris worked as an agricultural inspector for 22 years for the State of California.
She enjoyed her family and had a passion for quilt making.
Survived by her siblings; Maedell Smith, Beverly Scroggins , and Leland Lloyd. She is survived by her children; Arthella and David Stromborm, Randy and Mona Bolen, Brenda McElravy, Susan and Anthony Montano, Bruce Bolen, John and Susan Bolen, and Elaina and John Willard. She enjoyed 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
