FAMILY STORY
Marjorie died from being burned when her night gown caught on fire from the broiler in the stove, which was lighted to take the chill off the house. Her Dad was at work and her mother had gone down in the basement to put more coal in the furnace - as the coal that was put in the night before almost always would burn up and the house in the morning was usually pretty cool.
