Virgie Mae Adams of Bryan and formerly of Madison County, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 in Bryan, Texas at the age of 62. Funeral services are set for 11 AM., Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Madisonville Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Wayne Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Greer Cemetery in Madison County. Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm. on Friday, September 19th at the funeral home. Mae was born in Madison County on December 7, 1951 to Ira “Bo” Parker and Nina (Tullos) Parker. She lived in Madison and Leon counties for many years and in Bryan, Texas since 2004. She loved bingo, watching soap operas and listening to country music. She was a Christian woman and a homemaker. Mae was preceded in death by her father, Ira Parker; brother, Billy Don Parker and a sister, Joyce Ann Parker. She is survived by her mother, Nina Elizabeth Parker of North Zulch, Texas; three daughters, Karen Kay Woodson of Dallas, Texas, Angela Ann Adams of Dallas, Texas, Debra Sue Adams of Bryan, Texas; a sister, Earllene Miller of Flynn, Texas; several grandchildren.
