Mrs. Doris Williamson, 78, of LaGrange, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2000 at her residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 29 at 2 p.m. at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel in LaGrange with the Rev. Mike Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Williamson is survived by her husband, Hulett "Red" Williamson of LaGrange; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jim Beach of Valley; three sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Pat Williamson of Lafayette, Harold and Gail Williamson of Buford, Ga., and Jerry and Diann Williamson of LaGrange; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Born Oct. 30, 1921 in Randolph County, Ala., Mrs. Williamson was a retired seamstress from Playtex. She lived in the LaGrange area most of her life and was of the Holiness faith. She was the daughter of the late Robert Jackson and Maudie Mae Mapp Wilkerson.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7-9 p.m. at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home in LaGrange.
