Harland F. Brewer, 96, of Troy, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 at the Troy Hospital where he received the utmost love and care.
He was born Feb. 19, 1918 in Elmira, N.Y., the son of the late Frederick and Pearl (Burgess) Brewer. He retired from the New York State Department of Corrections as Head Nurse after several years of dedicated service. He will be laid to rest with his beloved Harriett Marie (Baldwin) Brewer in the Glenwood Cemetery Troy, Pa., at the convenience of his family.
