Andy L. Kienbaum, age 54, of rural Elkhart Lake died Monday morning, April 25, 2011 at his home after a courageous 10 month battle with cancer.
He was born August 19, 1956 at the Kienbaum family homestead, son of Isabell (Faust) Kienbaum and the late Willard Kienbaum.
Andy attended SS Peter & Paul Grade School and was a 1975 graduate of Kiel High School.
Andy was a dedicated and well loved employee at Stoelting Mfg. for 37 years until his illness required him to stop working.
Andy loved spending time with his family, especially his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed playing sheepshead, deer hunting, trapshooting, riding his Harley and playing horseshoes in the Kiel league. He also was an avid Packer & Nascar fan.
Survivors include his longtime girlfriend, Shelley Olocki; three children, Jacob, Stacey (Joe Kraus) & Kelly; four grandchildren, Ashton, Christian, Payton, Courtney; & his mother, Isabell Kienbaum. He is further survived by his brothers & sisters, Bob (Marilyn) Kienbaum, Jim Kienbaum, Mike (Jean) Kienbaum, Stanley Kienbaum, Gary
(Jane) Kienbaum, Mary ( Dan) Sohn, Deb Kienbaum and Randy (Amy) Kienbaum; Shelley's sons, Ben, Nick & Abe Meinnert and their children, Chase, Rylen, Lane, Zoey; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willard and his wife, Sara.
Funeral services for Andy will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel with Deacon Pat Knier officiating.
