Rev. John McKnight will officiate at funeral services in Jacques funeral home Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. for Clifford G. Maynes, 69 of 1803 12th Ave. W. who died Sunday at his home. Burial will be in Burnsland Cemetery.
Mr. Maynes was born in Waterloo, Que., and had lived in Calgary 22 years. He had been employed as an implement dealer with J.I. Case Co. 20 years prior to retiring in 1948.
Surviving are his wife Bessie; one daughter, Marjorie of Calgary; one sister, Mrs. Maud Baskerville of Dominion City, Man.; one son John Fraser Maynes, died in Calgary in April 1942.
