Robin A. Klingler-Graff, 69, of Fremont, Michigan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 7, 2014 after an 11 year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Robin was born April 25, 1945 in St. Neots, England, the son of James and Florence (Bourne) Klingler and the foster son of George and Nora Graff of Grant, Michigan. Robin graduated from Grant High School in 1963 and immediately enlisted in the United States Navy serving 4 years aboard the USS Wasp stationed in Boston, Massachusetts. It was there that he met the love of his life Diane M. Flaherty, they were married on September 11, 1965. In 1974 Robin and Diane moved to Newaygo , Michigan to raise their four children, Tammy Hubers of Newaygo, Karen (Kevin) Throop of Grant, William (Karen) Graff of Newaygo and Sarah ( Matt) Johnson of Port Huron.

Robin was employed at the General Motors/Delphi Plant in Wyoming, Michigan for 26.8 years where he worked in the Paint Shop Department before taking early retirement due to his Alzheimer’s Diagnosis. Robin had many hobbies but hunting and fishing was his passion, he thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends by sharing stories, teaching his techniques and sharing his love of the outdoors. Robin was a member of the Grant Wesleyan Church, he loved the Lord and lived his life as an example to others by sharing God’s love through his volunteer work, teaching Sunday School and being a caring, compassionate friend to many. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather to 11 grandchildren who will miss him dearly.

Robin was preceded in death by his father James Klingler, stepmother Barb Klingler FAG# 60624302, sisters Kathy Klingler and Marcia (Klingler) Rasmussen, stepfather Bill Werner, Foster parents George FAG#119091350 and Nora Graff FAG #119091351, foster brother Sylvester “Doc” Graff and foster sister Geraldine (Graff) DelGenio. He is survived by his wife, his children and 11 Grandchildren; Lauren and Kaitlyn Hubers, Tyler, Trevor, Trenton and Kirstyn Throop, Noah and Allyson Graff and Gabrielle, Hannah and Isabella Johnson. His mother Florence (Bourne) Klingler, brother Michael Werner, Sister Janice Pugh and his sister Gloria (Klingler) Klomparens.
