Jesse Richard “Buddy” Hamlin

Jesse Richard “Buddy” Hamlin, 87, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in the chapel of Hart’s at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with Dr. Mark Hudgins officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery North.

Mr. Hamlin was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church. He retired from AT&T with over 40 years of service. Mr. Hamlin was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II. His greatest joy in life was his precious wife, Mildred, and his two daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren.

Mr. Hamlin’s survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Mildred Hamlin of Macon; daughters, Susan Hamlin Hulett and husband, Jamie of Macon, and Kathy Hamlin Rentz and husband, Stan of Clayton, Georgia; four grandchildren, Stephanie Madeline Hulett of Macon, Patrick Cannon Hulett of Macon, Jesse Curtis Rentz of Clayton, and Katy Beth Rentz of Clayton.

Hart’s Mortuary and Crematory at the Cupola has charge of arrangements.
