Joanna Iris Roper Beckhart

Joanna was born to Jesse P Roper (1882-1962) and Mary Brown (1885-1979) on April 20, 1921 in Chetopa, Kansas. She had several step brothers and Sisters but she was the only surviving child of this marriage.
She was married to Byrl Cornel Beckhart on June 12 , 1948 in Los Angeles, Ca.
Byrl and Joanna were blessed with a daughter Carol Ann on September 8, 1949 and a son Robert Byrl on December 12, 1952. They lived in Downey Ca. until 1968 then moved to Cypress, Ca. then La Mirada, Ca.
The family moved to Ceres Ca. about 1985 where she lived until her death on November 10,1996. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Byrl whom died on July 4, 1991.
She is survived by her daughter and son, 3 grand children and 10 great grand children.
She was a faithful wife and a beloved mother and left a large emptiness to all who knew her.
