AW1 David L. Rothman served his country proudly from 21 December 1973 to 30 April 1994. David entered the US Navy at the end of the Vietnam War where he trained for and served as an Aircraft Acoustic Operator flying in US Navy P-3 Maritime Patrol aircraft. Later in his career, he became an instructor in Anti Submarine Warfare until his retirement in April of 1994. After serving in the US Navy, David was actively involved with the VFW and American Legion in Susanville, serving as the Van Ride Coordinator for Veterans needing travel arrangements to the VA Hospital in Reno, NV. until his retirement. David was a proud US Navy veteran. Because of his love of life, his sense of humor and his love for his family, he will be missed by many."
