Dudley H. Baker, 75, of Harriman, formerly of Winfield, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 27, 1983, at the Fort Sanders Presbyterian Hospital in Knoxville. He was the son of the late Charlie Bake and the late Ollie Davis Baker and was also preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Perkins Baker; one sister, Christine Baker; and two brothers: Lawrence and Home Baker. Mr. Baker is survived by one sister, Mrs. Marie Sprick of Stockton, Kan.; three brothers: Paul Baker of Oneida, Beverly and Jr. Baker, both of Harriman; one sister-in-law, Ida Perkins of Somerset, Ky.; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday evening, December 29, at the Kyker Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mason Goodman officiating. Graveside services were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, December 30, at the Perkins Cemetery in Winfield, with Rev. Douglas T. Strader officiating.
