Clarence M. Groman, 70, of 1546 Maumee Ave., Salisbury Township, a retired steelworker, died yesterday in Allentown Hospital. Groman had been a foreman in the coke works of the Bethlehem Steel Corp. before retiring 11 years ago. He was the husband of the late Mabel H. (DeLong) Groman. Born in Lehigh County, he was a son of the late William and Amanda Groman. Surviving are two sons, Ray and David, both of Allentown; four daughters, Margaret, wife of Willard Heiserman, of Allentown; Alice, wife of Curtis Bender, of Quakertown; Betty, wife of John Kroscez, of Bethlehem; and Nancy, wife of John Lint, of Catasauqua; a brother Edwin, of Allentown; a sister, Mrs. Ella
Hartman, of Center Valley; 33 grandchildren and a great­grandson. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Werley Funeral Home, 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. Viewing will be 7­8:30 p.m. Monday.
