Chester Orville Fint passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Heritage Hall Healthcare, Lawrenceburg, Ky.
He was born December 11, 1928 in Tyrone, Anderson County to the late Arthur Isaac and Mittie B. Flora Fint.
Mr. Fint was a 1946 graduate of Frankfort High School, a retired mechanic with the Kentucky State Police, and an active member of Bethel Baptist Church, having served as deacon, trustee, and treasurer. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean conflict, and a member of VFW Post 4075.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ollie Frances Jackson Fint; brothers, Bernard and Sherman M. Fint; and sister, Rosetta F. O''Nan, all of Frankfort.
He is survived by a son, Michael Fint; sister, Blanche F. Shy; and nieces, Patricia Thurman,
Susi Goddard, Sandra Wilcox and Sherry Graham, all of Frankfort; and a nephew, Joseph O''Nan of Lexington.
Services were 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Sargent and Rev. Michael Young officiating. Burial was in Frankfort Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Paul Smith, Henry Carr, John Jennings, Carey Graham, Sean Goddard, and Gary Thurman. Members of Bethel Baptist Church Men''s Sunday School Class served as honorary bearers.
