He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Arnold.
He was a member of the Mattese Republican Club.
Survivors include two sons, Terrell Ford and wife, Teri, of Gillespie, IL; and Michael Ford and wife, Deborah, of High Ridge, MO; two daughters, Demetra Sue Kohler and husband, Keith, of Arnold, MO; and Karen Bowling and husband, Keith, of Pevely, MO; two sisters, Imogene Sherrod and husband, Jessie and Gwen Horten, all of Senath, MO; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Ford.
Funeral services were Oct. 8, at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold with the Rev. Gerald Davidson officiating. Burial was in the National Cemetery.
