Lynn A. Kasbaum, age 59, of 1529 S. 39th Street, Manitowoc, died Sunday, September 29, 2013 at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, following a courageous 20 year battle with cancer, surrounded by her sister Kathy and family.
She was born on September 24, 1954 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Earl & Oridella (Ayotte) Kasbaum. Lynn was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, class of 1974. She was employed at the Foley Corporation for many years until her retirement due to her diagnosis with cancer. Lynn was active as a Holy Family Memorial Medical Center volunteer and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law: Kathy & Richard Krummel, Manitowoc. Also surviving are three nieces and a nephew: Talisha Krummel and her special friend Kelly Schultz, Manitowoc, Spc. Ryan Krummel, Afghanistan, Bridget (Richard) Reed, Green Bay and Brittany Schulz, Green Bay. Lynn is further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Dale & Jeffery Kasbaum; grandparents: John & Mary Kasbaum and Arnold & Margaret Fischer; an aunt: Janice Flemal; and two uncles: Art Ayotte & Fritz Behnke.
Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Service was the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth.
The family greeted relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Friends also called Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
