RONALD KITTELL
Ronald “Ron” Kittell, age 70, of 13153 Walkers Bay Road, Pound, WI, died Sunday evening September 11, 2011 at Aurora BayCare Center, Green Bay.
He was born on January 29, 1941 in Two Rivers, son of the late Melvin and Mabel (Engeldinger) Kittell. He attended Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On December 19, 1964 he married the former Shirley Schindler at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Two Rivers. Ron was employed with Manitowoc Cranes from 1967 until his retirement after 34 years in 2001. Ron was an avid fisherman, especially enjoyed spending winters in Florida, fishing. He enjoyed his 75 foot walk from his house to White Potato Lake, where he could spend the day fishing on his boat.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Kittell, Pound; one sister: Carol Kittell, Reedsvile; four brothers and one sister-in-law: Harold and Jean Kittel, Valders, David Kittell, Manitowoc, Harlan Kittell, Cato, Jerry Kittell, Madison; one sister-in-law: Janice and Bradley Klabunde; three brothers in law: Terry Schindler, Bruce (Poncho) Schindler, Robert Schindler. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends also survive.
Ron was also preceded in death by one niece: Suzanna Kittell; two brothers-in-law: John and Otto Schindler.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 17, 2001 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Ken Nelesen with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens on Monday.
