Jeff had been driving his new 2006 black GTO south bound on Lone Tree around 10 pm on May 23, 2007 and at the curve before Rite Aid at Pruitt Ranch Road, flipped his car. Jeff and his passenger who's name was not released where taken to John Muir where Jeff was pronounced dead. His passenger was in critical condition but expected to Survive.

On the night of May 23 we lost our beloved son and brother to an automobile accident on Lone Tree Way in Antioch.

Jeffrey Ralph Colo'n was born to Veronica Mann on July 10, 1986 in Martinez, Calif. A few years later Jeffrey's sister, Tiffany, was born and he loved her more than anything. After Jeffrey's parents were divorced he became very close to his grandfather and followed him around and idolized him. He enjoyed helping his Papa work on all the cars that he owned.

During this time Jeffrey's other sister, Brittany, was born. Jeffrey thought she was great and carried her around everywhere. Jeff's family moved in with his grandparents, where he learned a lot of life's lessons from his Papa.

During this time Jeff's mother met Donald Mann and they were married. After a few months Jeff's cousins, Steffany and Mellany, moved in and became part of the family. Greggory was soon born and Jeff finally got the brother he had always wanted.

Even at a very young age, Jeffrey showed signs of love and affection toward his mom by putting a banana in the tail pipe of her car so she couldn't go to work. He was a very loving and caring person to everyone he was around.

Jeff was the kind of person who would help any of his friends any way he could, whether it be loaning his tools to work on cars, driving 80 miles to have his friend's car towed home, loaning money to family and friends, waking up early to pick up or take someone to work, or running errands for people when they couldn't.

Jeff turned out to be a very responsible young man who had everything going for him and was no doubt on his way to be a successful individual in life.

Jeff loved to be with friends playing video and computer games, football after work, or just hanging out. Jeff always had a smile on his face and very rarely had anything bad to say about anyone.

Jeff has left an impression on everyone that he has met and will be deeply missed by everyone. We would like to thank everyone for his or her help and prayers during these tragic times we are going through. For everyone that knew Jeff, we hope he touched you as much as he did his family.

If anything good can come out of this tragedy, we hope that everyone will learn from this and drive carefully. This just proves that everyone needs to enjoy life as much as possible at the time because minutes from now everything may be gone. As he would say, "It is what it is."

Rest In Paradise, my son and brother. Forever in our hearts, our big lovable huggable Teddy Bear.
