Rosella was born on August 1, 1919 in St. Nazianz, daughter of the late Andrew and Agnes (Kautzer) Sukowaty.
On November 14, 1944 she married Frank Wellert at Holy Name Catholic Church, Sheboygan. Frankie preceded her in death on September 21, 2001.
Rosella was employed at the Sheboygan Public School system as a custodian until her retirement.
Survivors include two sisters, Imelda (Babs) Sukowaty, St. Nazianz, Irene Powalish, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law, Grace Sukowaty, Sheboygan; one brother-in-law, Orville Kresbach, Fond du Lac; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Rosella was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother-in-law, Sr. Caroline PHJC, Loretta and Ray Leonard, Marcella Sukowaty, Leona Sukowaty, and Evelyn Kresbach; five brothers and two sisters-in-law, Herbert and Catherine Sukowaty, Edward Sukowaty, Raymond Sukowaty, Joseph Sukowaty, and Andrew and Lynabelle Sukowaty.
Funeral Services for Rosella will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Marshall, on Monday, April 25, 2011. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Richard Klingeisen. She will be laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum, on Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
