Born May 1, 1940 in Steubenville, he was a son of the late H. Dean and Virginia (Lowry) Boyd.
He was retired from D.W. Dickey and Sons.
A Viet Nam Air Force veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 282 in Wetmore, KS and had been a member of the New Lisbon Presbyterian Church. He was a 1958 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School.
Survivors Include four children, Vicki (John Robert) Garwood, Deborah (Greg) Mayernik, Pamela (Ronald) Flory, and Steven Boyd all of Lisbon; a sister, Barbara (David) Cranmer of Lisbon; 6 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Ruth A. Grubb, whom he married May 28, 1961.
Burial will be at Lisbon Cemetery.
