Paula was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro, where she was involved as a missionary, Sunday school treasurer, and Women of Hope. She loved crocheting.
Paula is survived by her husband of 15 years, Leroy Jones; her children, Heather Ramsey, Duane Ramsey, Jennifer Ramsey White, Thomas Davis, Angel Davis, Bobby Jones, Leroy Cruz, and William Jones; her brothers, Leonard Lashley, Eli Lashley, Jr., Joe Lashley, and David Lashley; her sisters, Betty Jean Meyer, Rhoda Lashley, Lilly Moore, Rae Ann Frank, Mary Lou Horton, and Diane Vann; her 13 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leroy, Louis, and James Lashley; and her sister, Emma Lee.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Main St. and Route 9, Whitesboro, where viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in Household of Ruth Cemetery, Whitesboro.
