PAULA M. JONES, 55, of Whitesboro, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at her home. Born in Sea Isle City to the late Eli B. and Emma (Gibbs) Lashley, Sr., she was a lifetime resident of this area and was formerly employed by the City of Wildwood.

Paula was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro, where she was involved as a missionary, Sunday school treasurer, and Women of Hope. She loved crocheting.

Paula is survived by her husband of 15 years, Leroy Jones; her children, Heather Ramsey, Duane Ramsey, Jennifer Ramsey White, Thomas Davis, Angel Davis, Bobby Jones, Leroy Cruz, and William Jones; her brothers, Leonard Lashley, Eli Lashley, Jr., Joe Lashley, and David Lashley; her sisters, Betty Jean Meyer, Rhoda Lashley, Lilly Moore, Rae Ann Frank, Mary Lou Horton, and Diane Vann; her 13 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leroy, Louis, and James Lashley; and her sister, Emma Lee.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Main St. and Route 9, Whitesboro, where viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in Household of Ruth Cemetery, Whitesboro.
