Norman was the son of Gene Graham and Barbara McLaughlin. His father died prior to marrying Norman's mother, and prior to Norman's birth.

Norman's paternal grandparents, Benner Virgil and Leona Beck Graham, adopted Norman shortly after his birth. After Benner died and Leona remarried, her new husband, Heber Davis adopted Norman.

He's hard to describe, a spoiled child, a rudderless ship as an adult. He could be petulant, selfish and loving.

Norman was a gifted auto body man. In his youth he loved motorcycles. I'll never forget him showing up and taking me for a ride on his Harley.

Norman was the father of twins from a short lived marriage to his first wife. He later met Shirley and they became life mates. Shirley seemed to provide the steerage and stability he needed.

Norman suffered long and succumbed to cancer in Nov. 2001.
