Had Been in Poor Health for Several Years - Funeral at J. M. Harry & Co. at Noon Today.
Paul Arrington, aged 48 years, died Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at his home, 1215 South boulevard, after having been in poor health for several years.
The deceased, who was an accountant, returned home from a trip in South Carolina about 10 days ago, his condition having been such as to cause him to take to his bed.
Mr. Arrington was a native of Alabama and came to Charlotte about three years ago. He was a member of the Dilworth Methodist church.
In addition to his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Wells Arrington, and three young children, Paul, Jr., Charles Mason and Mary Frances Arrington, he is survived by six brothers and one sister, as follows: C. W., L. W., and C. B. Arrington, of Havana, Fla., A. C. Arrington and Mrs. C. W. Wilson, of Hurtsboro, Ala., J. H. Arrington, of Enterprise, Ala., and Nicholas B. Arrington, of Charlotte.
Funeral services will be held at the parlors of J. M. Harry & Co., at 12 o'clock today, in charge of Rev. W. B. West, pastor of Dilworth Methodist church. Interment will follow in Oaklawn.
