Jeffery Lynn "Monroe" Quinn, 46, of the Shawtown community died 12:45 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2014, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Keith Kirk and Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in the Quinn Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Tim Crow, Jackie Curlin, Dennis Robison, Robert Farmer, Jeff Ursery, Tim Bishop, Rodney Quinn and Chris Burpo.

Monroe was born November 20, 1967, in Union City, son of the late Jimmy Wayne "Crazy Horse" and Geneva Annie Francis (Blassingame) Quinn. He had been employed at First Choice Auto Body in Martin and Buddy's Wrecker Service and Allen's Wrecker Service both in Union City.

He is survived by one daughter, Elaine Hope Quinn of the Shawtown community; one son, Jacob Monroe Quinn of the Shawtown community; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy "Little Wayne" and Beth Quinn of the Shawtown community; two nephews, Christopher Quinn of the Lane's Ferry community and Jeremy Quinn of the Shawtown community; and his uncles and aunts, Bud and Elizabeth Blassingame of the Shawtown community, Joyce and Bobby Cunningham of Woodland Mills and Willie and Lee Horne of Pulaski.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Audie and Eva Blassingame and Wonnie and Nellie Quinn; one aunt, Sue Scott; and one uncle, J.B. Quinn.
