He loved to play dominoes every afternoon at the Senior Center and 42 in the evenings at Enchanted Pines Assisted Living Center, where he resided since 2012. He was a people person who thrived on conversation and lived to dance every other Thursday evening at the Anderson County Senior Citizens’ Center. When O.B. wasn’t visiting friends or dancing in the evenings, he could be found walking. He enjoyed some success as a writer, and his writings reflected his love for God, people, his country, animals and the beauty of nature.
He is survived by one daughter, Wendy Suzanne Pizzo and husband, Andrew; 13 beloved nieces and 3 nephews.
Memorial Services for O.B. Ethridge will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Enchanted Pines Retirement Community.
