Mrs. Mary Immie Riley-Threatt was born to the parents of (late) Mr. Enoch Doc and Mrs. Viola Knight-Riley on October 19, 1923, in Pine Apple, Alabama. The family moved to Uriah, Alabama, in the Jeddo Community where she united with the St. Paul Baptist Church.

She met and married Mr. Booker Threatt and together they reared their family in the Jeddo Community. In the early seventies, the family moved to the Shiloh Community of Frisco City, Alabama, and she united with the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Upon her husband's death in 1978, Mary moved with her children to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Years later, she moved to Pensacola, Florida, and united with the St. Matthew Baptist Church in Cantonment, Florida, while living with her daughter, Annie.

Mary moved back home to Shiloh (Frisco City) and re-united with the church family while in the dedicated care of her daughter, Shirley and daughter-in-law, Sharon. Her final move came on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, in the early hours at the Monroe County Hospital in Monroeville, Alabama.
