Arthur "Art" Louis Klein, 62, of Burlington died at 3:56 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born February 5, 1952 in Burlington, he was the son of Arnold G. and Audrey J. (Westermeyer) Klein. On January 17, 2004 he married Rebecca "Becky" J. Riley at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in West Burlington.
Art attended Burlington High School and graduated from Notre Dame High School. He also attended Shattuck Military Academy in Faribault, Minnesota. He worked at Klein Manufacturing, Prudential and for over 10 years at Turley's Menswear before becoming the owner and operator of Farney's on Jefferson Street which he has done for the past 25 years.
Art was a member of Zion United Church of Christ. He was a very active member of the Burlington Elks Lodge #84 where he currently was serving as secretary and also was a past state president of the Iowa Elks Association. He loved his work with the Elks. Art was also a member of Moose Lodge 579, Burlington Gym, Eagles Lodge Aerie 150, and Masonic Lodge AF&AM. He was a Cubs and Bears fan, collected beer steins, and was a keyboard player for many local area bands.

He was preceded in death by his father.
