Rites Arranged For Lost Hills Man

BAKERSFIELD (Kern Co.), Jan. 20. - Funeral services for Jacob S. Bever, 56, a native of Indiana and a resident of Lost Hills for the last five years, who died in a local hospital Thursday, will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock in the Payne Chapel with Rev. Grover Ralston of the First Methodist Church officiating.

Bever was a member of the Torrance Masonic Lodge and was employed by the Security Oil Company. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Opal Bever, Los Hills; a son, Jacob Bever, Jr., Lost Hills; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Milton, Buena Park and Mrs. Addie Gober, Los Hills; five brothers, Fred Bever, Torrance; George Bever, Bakersfield; Aaron, Albert and Orville Bever, all of Michigan; five sisters, Mrs. Inez Phillips, Mrs. Nellie Peterson, Mrs. Rose Murray and Mrs. Grace Lovall, all of Michigan, and Mrs. Elizabeth Runyan, Indiana.
