Oshkosh native William F. Grundman, 84, New Holstein, died Wednesday in Calumet Medical Center, Chilton.

He was born August 24. 1903, in Oshkosh, to William and Elizabeth Smith Grundman. He married Agnes Schaub July 29, 1947, in Fond du Lac.

Mr. Grundman was employed by the State of Wisconsin Division of Corrections until 1957. He was then appointed superintendent of Calumet County Homestead in New Holstein. a position he held until retiring in 1966.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein, and was active in the Wisconsin Cage Bird Club.

Surviving are his widow; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Melvin (Jean) Hoekstra, New Holstein; one stepson, Conner Feuerhelm, Oshkosh; one brother, John Grundman, Oshkosh; one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Grace) Ward, Stevens Point; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. Friends may call at Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home, New Holstein, from 4-7 p.m.
