Pfc. Angelo A. Zawaydeh of San Bruno, California graduated in 2004 from Terra Nova High School, entering the Army and arriving at Fort Campbell in 2005. He was an extreme sports enthusiast who was rarely seen without his skateboard and he enjoyed doing tricks and capturing them on videotape. His awards and decorations include, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge. In addition to his parents he is survived by his two sisters and a brother. His grandmother, Helene Bradreau, died in December 2004. Posthumously awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals. He was 19.
