Services Held for Mrs. Etta Grissom
Funeral Services for Mrs. Etta Grissom, age 76, of Quitman, were held at 2 PM Saturday at Antioch Presbyterian Church near Quitman with the Rev. L. K. Hartsfield, the Rev. Lowell Reichardt and the Rev. Loy Baird officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Mrs. Grissom died Thursday night in Hodge Clinic after a brief illness.
Survivors include one son, Thurmon Grissom, Hodge; four daughters, Miss Iris Grissom, Mrs. Novis Duck, Mrs. Edna Hanes and Mrs. Mary Lowe, all of Quitman; two half-brothers, Jimmy Loe and Winston Loe, Quitman; two half-sisters, Mrs. Roy Browder and Mrs. Leon Pardue, Quitman; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Neil Lowe, Winnfred Peel, Elton Peel, Otis Walsworth Jr., Kenneth Hartsfield and Roy Earl Koonce.
