Gertrude Elizabeth Allison, 88, of Conway, passed away Monday (March 13, 2006).
She was born on June 8, 1917, to the late Edgar and Flora Yeoman Hoss. She was a retired secretary from FMC and had previously worked for the University of Central Arkansas, Hendrix College and First State Bank. She was a homemaker and charter member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby Allison of Memphis, Tenn., Walter Allison and wife, Debbie, of Conway, and Richard Allison and wife, Jennifer, of Mount Washington, Ky.; seven grandchildren, Kara Allison Bell and husband, Rob, of Maumelle, Porter Allison of Memphis, Kalyn Allison of Springdale, Kyle Allison of Conway, Blake Allison, Lindsey Allison and Kristen Allison, all of Memphis; and one great-granddaughter, Allison Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert C. "Bob" Allison; and two sisters, Leona Murphree and Cleo Porter.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Rev. David Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
