Louis Milton Williams was born near Avinger in Cass County Texas the 22nd of October 1902. He was the fourth son of Edgar Lewis and Rosa Lee Williams. Although he was named after his father, he was nicknamed "BOOTS", a name by which he was known until his family moved to West Texas.
He was married to Anne Ruth Danforth also buried here at Rose Hill.
On the 27th of September 1921 Louis and Anne along with their friends, Prude Wilson and Ray Poole drove up to Dickens Court House in a convertible Model A touring car and were married. Louis did not want to go inside the courthouse building so Ray had the Judge come outside. Louis and Anne sat up on the back seat of that convertible and were married by the JP standing alongside the car.
