Estella Carrington
Services will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday in the Knox Memorial chapel for Mrs. Estella Carrington, 85, a resident of Rock Island and Moline for many years, who died Tuesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Brasmer, of 221 - First Ave. Milan.
Burial will be in Rock River View Cemetary, Moline.
The former Estella Hussey was born March 14, 1869, in South Bend, Indiana and attended schools there. She married Orland Carrington in March 1886, and the couple moved to Moline in 1890.
Following her husband's death in 1930, she lived in Rock Island and Milan. She was a member of Fifteenth Avenue Christian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Earl A., Rock Island and Ernest E., Moline; three daughters, Mrs. Brasmer, Milan and Mrs. Esther Howes and Mrs. Evalena Evans, both of Rock Island; a sister, Mrs. William Schowalter, Rock Island; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
