Donna Reeder Lauritzen (84) peacefully passed away, with her eternal companion holding her hand, on Sept. 23, 2014.
Donna was born Christmas Day, 1929, to parents, Wesley and Irene Henwood Reeder, in Brigham City, Utah.
On Feb. 12, 1949, she married Donald Rex Lauritzen. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple on Feb. 12, 1958.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving in the Primary.
Donna was a full-time mother and homemaker. She loved flower gardening, music, embroidery, word find puzzles and her "little dog" Bandit. Her greatest joy was in being Grandma to her 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her husband, Donald, of Hyrum; children: Kelly (Cindy) of Hyrum; Kenneth (Holly) of Keiser, Oregon; Scott of Hyrum; Karen Hepworth (Rick) of Hyrum; Steven (Tammy) of Boise, Idaho; Lori Nevitt (Dan) of Logan, Utah. Sisters: LaRene Jacobson and Emma Jean Price. Brothers: Leslie Reeder and Robert Reeder.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Merrill Reeder and Richard Reeder; son-in-law, Clark Dattage; grandchildren: Glen H. Dattage II and Joshua Steven Lauritzen.
Funeral services will be at noon, Monday, Sept. 29, at the Hyrum 13th Ward Chapel, located at 675 W. 175 North in Hyrum, with a viewing from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Hyrum City Cemetery.
