Mr Franklin lived his last few years at Stringtown, Oklahoma with his daughters Rena Franklin Howard and Marion Ruth Franklin.
He also stayed some with his son Ronnie Frankin and Family at Caney, Oklahoma.

4 sisters: Marvin Doharsh, Hellen Duvall, Maud Smith and Nora Walker.
15 grandchildren several nieces and nephews.

Mr.Franklin was a humerous man for the short time I knew him. I married his grandson Rickie and we had taken PA fishing with us many times. He loved fishing and the outdoors. We came across another man once at a farm pond who had somehow gotten his fishing line tangled up in the tree limbs and "PA" as cool as ever just looked up and said "I aint never tried fishing up there before"...I heard many stories of "PA" and his mules and buggy how he used them to dig and plow the fields for crops. A hard working man most of his life.
Preceeded in death by his wife Verna Inez Hughes Franklin.
