Was married 1st to Rena Franklin and from that union he had 3 children: Rickie Gene Kilpatrick of Sherman, Tx; Robbie Kilpatrick of Stringtown, Ok; and Debbie Kilpatrick Hutson of Stringtown, OK.
Survived by wife Lora Arbuckle Kilpatrick of the home, and children Vernon "Sput" Kilpatrick of Fayetteville; ARK.
