Len Morris Campbell Sr., age 95, of Cumming passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009. He was a member of Cumming First United Methodist Church and native of Atlanta, living in Cumming for the past 22 years. Mr. Campbell was a retired railroad engineer with Seaboard Coast Line and a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II. He played professional baseball for six years and was a member of Mableton Lodge #171 F&AM.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Dola Appling Campbell of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Len Jr. and Sandra Campbell of Cumming; granddaughter and husband, Kacy and W.D. Land of Woodstock; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cumming First United Methodist Church, 770 Canton Highway, Cumming, GA 30040.
